Description
Billy Taylor Trio, volume three
Billy Taylor (p) Earl May (b) Charlie Smith (d) NYC, November 2, 1953 Original Prestige 10 inch 33&1/3 DEEP GROOVE MONO Lp from 1954, red and silver label, #PRLP 183. Has "RVG" in the dead wax.
The vinyl is clean looking, no marks at all, but some light background hiss noticed, which is endemic some of these early pressings. Perhaps a cleaning on a VPI machine would clean it up a bit. VG+.
The cover is very worn along the bottom edge, which is mostly split, the top edge has a long split two, about three inches. Light ringwear front and back, and a price written in pencil on the back. VG. (see pictures for more details).
