A very tidy Aussie only issue of this 1966 EP from the legendary Billy Thorpe backed by The Aztecs when he was king of the Aussie beat scene that only a mother could love. Five years later they would indeed lock up their daughters when his reincarnation ushered in a brash blues / hard rock style that was powerfully unleashed upon the unsuspecting next generation.
These four songs on this original 60’s issue (with the fold-back flap style cover) represent the A + B sides to his first 2 singles from 1965.
CONDITION :
Vinyl : VG+. Not overly played and still heaps of shine. A few light marks each side which don’t affect the playback at all. No pops or jumps and a very pleasing and clean sound.
Labels : Clean.
Sleeve : original picture cover in acceptable condition. No writing or splits. Some ring-wear and rubbing on front and age marks on the back. Edge-wear on the top and bottom edges which seems consistent with most copies that turn-up these days. I’ve seen much worse than this one and certainly worth adding to your collection.
