Up for sale is this original vintage 1945 issued set of three (originally contained five) 78 rpm shellac records featuring Bing Crosby singing many holiday classics. The set is titled “Merry Christmas” and this was the original 5-record set that was reduced to 4 records in 1947. This is Decca Album No. A-403. HOWEVER, only two of the three records are from the original A-403 set (I’ll be Home for Christmas/Danny Boy and Jingle Bells/Santa Claus is Coming to Town). The other record includes the classic song White Christmas (and “Let’s Start the New Year Right” on the reverse side), which are sung by Bing Crosby, from the set No. A-306, the motion picture soundtrack “Holiday Inn”. All three records are in excellent to near mint condition! These are some of the nicest 78 shellac records we have ever had. The binder is in very good plus condition with just a bit of edge wear.
