Description
This rare Bing Crosby 78 RPM record from 1929 is a must-have for any collector or fan of early vocal recordings. It has Bing singing in a higher voice than his crooner days. It is his first solo record, though many more preceded it with Bing taking a secondary role. It was recorded on March 14, 1929 in New York City and was backed by Matty Malneck on violin, Roy Bargy on piano, and the seldom heard Ed “Snoozer” Quinn on guitar.
Produced by Columbia, this single features My Kinda Love, and is backed with Till We Meet. The record is made of shellac and has a diameter of 10 inches. It plays through with usual static and no skips. The label is black with gold lettering, shows some wear from age but is still legible, and the record comes in a generic protective sleeve. Minor chip on edge of My Kinda Love does not affect play. Same on flip side. Ships media mail. U.S. 48 Only. No International shipping.
