Up for sale is this vintage (copyright 1945) set of four 78 rpm shellac records featuring Bing Crosby. The set is titled “Merry Christmas” and includes such classics as White Christmas, Silent Night and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. This is Decca Album No. A-550. The records are all in very good ++ to almost excellent condition, especially for 78’s, but the first record with Silent Night and Adeste Fideles does have a crack in the shellac from the outer edge toward the center through the grooved area. Not sure how that one will play as it has not been tested. The binder is in generally good condition but there is a bit of the paper cover torn back as you can see on the front cover in the lower left. Intact and good otherwise.
