These eight sides sound and play EX- with the normal 78 background from careful play.  I use a 

78 cartridge on a floating arm with 4-5 grams for

older 78s on a modern turntable.  If you use a vintage 40s or 50s player, I guess you just play! 

(if these were LPs, they would sound VG at least)

With 78 shellacs, sometimes you can see where a record(s) has been stressed from storage, etc., and you can see where it will likely break first.

These disc have a shellac arc-shadow along the outer edge on one side where I thing they have been stored at an angle for decades.

THEY ARE NOT MUCH, 

BUT IF I SEE IT I WANT YOU TO!

There are no cracks yet, but you can see where those cracks could come with improper handling 

in the future.

I will pack these carefully as if they were bone china

because old shellacs are about that delicate

and brittle.

ALSO, I AM INCLUDING SPARE DISCS OF THREE 

of this 78s from an incomplete set with no jacket.

These are very playable but have a very worn

spindle hole from the previous owner.

Should you lose or break any of your originals, you may use these as substitutes!

 I have not attempted to clean this set other than

dusting off surface prior to play.

Cover shows some wear from the 68 years, but is sturdy and intact.

You’ll love the liner notes that explain who

“Bing” is  ... as if that were ever needed!!

Important (and wordy) Comments on Records:

       I am a vinyl hoarder more than a seller, but due to space limitations, Ms. zeboxer and I (mostly Ms. zeboxer) are going to be finding new homes for a few records (she says a few thousand). These records were obtained over the years as I collected from friends who no longer listened, or from estates.  In most estates, the purchase is all or none, so to get the records I wanted, I had to get hundreds. 

       Whenever possible, I will tell you how records sound to me using Dual/Grado/Definitive Technology system.  Every vinyl listener is different, and while I appreciate the best, I am also tolerant and even enjoy a little of the vinyl pops and such.  I rate/describe the record as I hear it, and will not intentionally mislead anyone.  

         I use the Goldmine as a guide, with my play grading description giving you the details.  My VG+/Nm borderline is an excellent TimeWarp worthy record.  My VG+ is a great sounding record.  My VG has sporadic background, but it is never overpowering.  My G+ will play without skips, but noise will be more than sporadic, and too much for a VG.  I will explain exceptions.  If it plays better or worse than it looks visually, I will tell you.

        I give you the details of the cover, and let the photos show the condition.  

 I anticipate the mails will try to break everything I send, so I always pack accordingly.  Records are packed to maintain the integrity of the disc and cover, in record mailers (often two of ‘em) for individual or small lots.

Payment is expected within four (4) days.
