Description

Rare Test Pressing of Love in Bloom, early 1930's. Says Columbia Records, but the matrix # 182 side A is clearly from the early 30's, recorded on Brunswick, before Columbia bought them out. It seems as though this matrix was released on several Brunswick owned labels.
A wonderful young Bing is heard. The record is also marked "Mr' Avakian". I suppose it is possible that this copy was given to George Avakian, well known record producer and music critic. The record is 11" (untrimmed).  I will rate E-. It plays superbly.
