Band/Record: LP Bintangs - Blues On The Ceiling , debut first pressing
Label/Matrix: Holland 1969 Decca 846 514 XBY
Condition Vinyl: VG+ , hairlines and faint hairlines, show signs of use , low background noise mostly on the quiet parts, no scratches and no skipping when playing the record.
The condition of the cover, front is EX , backside is VG++, a little cut out on the front cover right up, back cover the normal use wear, nothing to disturbed.
The label shows no signs of spindle wear. see pictures
This is the orginal debut record of The Bintangs with a great psychedelic sleeve.
Great album with a blues-based psych and garage feel.

BINTANGS came from Beverwijk and had CULT status in Noord Holland in mid-60s as SUPER WILD band! "Blues On The Ceiling" is their very 1st album! RAW, PRIMITIVE and WILD sound with strong FREAKBEAT Rhythm'n'Blues roots - they actually didn't change much, just became a bit more HEAVY! Album is loaded with WASTED looser sphere flavoured with LSD PSYCH - well, these strange mushrooms on sleeve are not there without reason! HEAVY FREAKBEAT guitar riffs, FUZZ leads, PSYCH flute, GREAT vocal... HEAVY UNDERGROUND PSYCH masterpiece!!! 11 tracks, some titles: "Smokestack Lightning", "Fighting A Losing Battle", "Still A Fool", "300 Pounds Of Joy", "My Babe", "It's All Over Now".
