This is an album from an extensive collection of early jazz albums that I am selling for a Vermont client, so look back often to take advantage of a wonderful collection. 

I take a lot of pictures as they tend to show the condition better than I can describe them.  Be sure and check out the pictures and ask for more if there is something specific you want to see. 

This is the original 1956 USA issue (turquoise label) and would be a nice addition to your collection.    

RECORD - graded a G+

has some light scatches, most can't be felt with fingernail - what makes my grading a G+ instead of higher is the appearance of what looks like bubbles but aren't, in the surface of the album (see picture with red < showing a couple of these marks) - these imperfections have no impact on the listening experience.   No warping of record

The labels are in decent condition (check pictures) with some light wear around the spindle hole.

The runout areas have the following production etchings: 

Side 1 is etched "T1-762-D2" A small #2 after that

Side 2 is etched "T1-762-D1" 

There also is a small etching on each side in the deadwax that looks like a keystone?

This album plays great with no distortion, skipping or other major audible defects. There is an occassional light surface noise (dust/static noise) but never anything that interferes with the music quality.  


COVER - graded a VG

no shrinkwrap - no stickers or writing on either side 

1/4" seam split on top edge near opening, no other splits 

opening edge has some chipping and corner wear (see pictures)

some light corner bumping (see pictures)



CLEANING

I do a cautionary cleaning only, some light brushing with an approved audio carbon fiber brush and minimal use of audio cleaning solution if warranted. I do not professionally clean my records, I leave that up to the new owners.

GRADING

I utilize the industry standard for grading, Goldmine's, and I tend to grade conservatively.


PACKING
All records are shipped outside their covers, in new sleeves, packed between 2 sturdy corrugated cardboard flats and mailed in an approved record mailer.
