Description
Offered without reserve is a (apparently rare?) copy of Bishop Steel's Killing Asylum EP from 1991 on Ebic records. Also included is a glossy photo of the band's leader (I think) along with a classic "90's style" photocopied & stapled 3-sheet fanzine. These were inside the sleeve when I found the record back in the 90's and may have been original inserts in the EP, but I haven't been able to find documentation that this is the case.
I honestly don't know anything about this band other than what I could dig up in the metal-archives site.
I haven't played it, but the vinyl honestly appears to be in NM or M- condition. There isn't the slightest hint of any rubs on the label near the spindle, so it appears it was either never player or played very little and very well taken care of. It is super clean, perfectly lustrous and glossy as you would expect. Very very and extremely close inspection might show signs of having been slid out of the sleeve, which I've always found to be the case even with records that were just opened. The inner sleeve shows darkening with age. The sleeve is probably in the G to VG range, showing signs of shelf wear and mild creasing etc.
I was a college radio DJ back in the 90's and an amateur records collector (to a degree), picking up and holding on to whatever I found that looked interesting at garage sales, thrift shops, etc. I'm not exactly sure where I found this originally, but I was digging though some of my crates over the weekend and it caught my eye.
My apologies to the US bidders who previously placed bids on this. I realized I had an error in the listing and eBay would not let me revise so I had to end and re-list Everything is squared away now, however and the auction will run it's course without reserve or interruption this time around.
