Description

Record: Bix Beiderbecke & His Gang OKeh on OKeh 41030

Line-up: Bix Beiderbecke, c / Bill Rank, tb / Izzy Friedman, cl / Min Leibrook, bsx / Roy Bargy, p / Harold MacDonald, d. New York, April 17, 1928.

Songs: Thou Swell / Somebody Stole My Gal

Description: One of the last Gang Sessions of Bix. The black label OKeh, which is one of the rarest OKeh of Bix is literally impossible to find (haven't seen any so far). The small red labeled OKeh (later pressing) is not as rare as the first pressing but still it's not very easy to find this record. I had to wait a long time to find my copy in almost E+. This copy will do it until you'll get yours in E+... What Bix is playing on both sides is achingly beautiful...

Condition: E-

A true gem! Simply fantastic! Own a piece of jazz history!

Packing: As a collector, it's very important for me that 78 rpm records are well packed. I can guarantee professional packing! Until today, all my buyers were entirely satisfied with my packing.

Costs for shipping: I don't charge anything for the packing of the record. The buyer pays only postal fees. The postal fee for the first record is $15,00 worldwide, including the U.S. (I wasn't able to change that on American Ebay, the costs are of course NOT $4,00). Additional records will be charged according to the postal fees of the Swiss Post (Economy). This depends on the weight of the records, which can vary.

Please don't make a payment before you get your invoice! If you wish faster postal services or registered mail, please let me know!

Payment within 3 days (72 hours) after auction closes! PayPal only!!!!

Your item will be shipped within 24 hours after confirmed payment!

Grading:

I'm trying to be as exact as possible! My records are usually sight-graded, otherwise it's indicated. I usually never buy records graded under E and therefore, you can be sure that the records I'm selling here are usually top copies (E or higher).
