Description

A Souvenir Program By Paul Whiteman featuring Bix Beiderbecke, The Original Whiteman Rhythm Boys, Bing Crosby Arrangements by Bill Challis and Ferde Grofe. Recordings made in 1928 Album released in 1941, Victor 78 rpm 5 record album P-100.  Performances are unique In that many of them are alternate takes of the version that was popularly sold.  Selections include Lovable, I'm Afraid of You, Forget-Me-Not, My Pet, Down In Old Havana Town, Dancing Shadows, That's Grandma, From Monday On, Back In Your Own Back Yard and When You're With Somebody Else.
Records are in E condition. The Album is E- to V+.  There is evidence of previous enjoyment.  Please see photos.

FERTIG COLLECTION WHICH WAS STARTED IN 1936.  WE HAVE BEEN CARE TAKERS OF THE COLLECTION AND IN THE BUSINESS FOR THE LAST TWENTY FIVE YEARS.  ALL RECORDS ARE STORED IN ENVIRONMENTALLY CONTROLLED SPACE.  RECORDS ARE CLEANED WITH A VPI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE BEFORE THEY ARE OFFERED FOR PURCHASE.  RECORDS ARE PACKED CAREFULLY WITH MULTIPLE CARDBOARD PACKERS IN APPROPRIATE SIZED BOXES.
