Up for auction is an absolute holy grail for 90s electronic and pop vinyl collectors: an authentic 100% original 1997 UK first pressing of Björk’s masterpiece, Homogenic.

This is the definitive initial run from One Little Indian, completely distinct from the modern digital-source reissues. It sounds incredibly dynamic, deep, and warm!

👑 First Pressing Identifiers Present:

• Top-Opening Sleeve: The initial, quirky design choice by Me Company where the record slots in from the top of the outer jacket, rather than the side.

• Deadwax/Runout Etchings: Hand-etched THE EXCHANGE and the iconic NILZ signature (Nilesh Patel) cut into the runout grooves.

• Back Cover Barcode: Features the exact period-correct white printed barcode box (5016958032913) at the bottom left with the original "One Little Indian Ltd" legal text.

• Inserts: Includes the complete original 9-panel oversized silver lyric/poster insert sheet.

🎚️ Condition & Play-Test:

• Vinyl (Media): VG+ (Very Good Plus). Visually, there are a couple of faint, purely cosmetic surface hairline marks. However, it has been fully audio play-tested and it plays beautifully from start to finish! No skips, no loud pops, and no intrusive background noise, even during the sparse, quiet moments.

• Sleeve: VG+. Remarkably sharp, clean, and bright for its age. No major ring wear, splits, or heavy corner bends. Solid spine.
