Up for bids is a rare and seldomly offered for sale LP by Lafayette, Louisiana's Blac Dog entitled "Backwoods Boogie (Louisiana's Answer To Punk Rock)" from 1978 on their own, private Crazy Horse label, #2001. There's 9 songs from this "bumpin' coon-ass band" as they sing on the opening title cut and you're guaranteed a raw, rocking good time! As far as I know this was only issued once and is probably due for a reissue one of these days...check out my other listings for another sadly forgotten LA gem in South Paw's LP as I combine on shipping! Sleeve is NM- with only minor rubbing on the front that is very faint and a tiny inch chip of the slick is missing near the opening of the jacket on the top seam, but no seam splits otherwise or any other visual flaws. Vinyl rates as NM- and looks and sounds great! There's some spindle marks on the labels that show that this has been played a few times for sure though.
