Description

The disc is Very Good Plus with no visible marks, clean, but it looks like a flat or shallow pressing. The cover is Very Good with some light friction wear, the artist's name written on otherwise blank spine, marker letters in lower left rear, and some blurring or blobbiness which I think is part of the artwork, but might be water damage to the cover used for photo reproduction. See photos. The original ESP label was not deluxe and the reissue label Base is not either. Still the sound is very listenable. Lowe is at his best, playing tenor, and joined by Joseph Jarman on alto and soprano, William Parker on bass, Rashid Sinan on drums, and The Wizard on violin. Each side is a long workout, In Trane's Name at 25 minutes and the medley of Brother Joseph and Thulani at 21. Save postage on multiples.
