I do not sell copies or bootlegs.
I post my LPs by Tracked Delivery. I use good quality reinforced cardboard cases and separate the Vinyl from the Sleeves to prevent splits in covers. I also enclose a plastic sleeve for storage if the shrink wrap on the sleeves is not intact.
Reviews: 1970 debut album for this young south London blues-based band. Original members had been Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke, but when they left to form Free, the band reorganised and went on to record this album for Decca's Nova label. Bassist Stuart Brooks was later to re-surface in the Pretty Things. This is one of those albums you re-visit every so often, and find yourself thoroughly enjoying it, even after all this time after 1970. There's something enduring about bands like these from that time, when bands were original, believed in themselves, worked damned hard for little or no reward/ recognition, but got off on giving the fans a bloody good night out. Back when record companies took chances, before everyone sounded the same. This album swings more towards bluesey R&B than it does prog rock, but every track's a winner, and yet another instance of 'Why didn't they make it with material as good as this?'. If you like Coliseum, Family, and Nucleus, you'll love this. No nonsense, no surprises, but well worth buying.
