BLACK CAT BONES - "BARBED WIRE SANDWICH" LP
1970 1st UK pressing in MONO
The stereo version of this LP is extremely rare, but this MONO version is unbelievably rare, with reputedly only 15 to 20 pressings having been made.
1st UK pressing on the Decca Nova Label in MONO.

Cover: Excellent+. Laminated front and unlaminated rear, with the mono/stereo 'peephole' in the top right corner of the rear cover. No seam splits, minimal creasing on the top edge. No writing. Clear spine.
Inner sleeve: Original 'red' MONO inner sleeve. No seam splits. Current owner’s name and date of purchase written on one side in the top left hand corner.
Labels: Virtually unmarked.
Vinyl: Virtually mint. This record has been played twice. Once when purchased 37 years ago, and partially today as a quality check. There is an absolutely minimal unevenness of the surface (and I stress minimal) which has probably existed from new. The playing quality is totally unaffected.
My father has owned this LP since he purchased it from W.H. Smiths in Maidenhead, for the princely sum of 40p.
