THE BEATLES - 'THINGUMYBOB'/'YELLOW SUBMARINE'

Here is a great copy of a rare Paul McCartney-penned theme tune from the UK TV series of the same name.

It dates from initial August 1968 release on the Apple label: APPLE 4

A single letter 'J' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Yellow Submarine' label.

Matrices: APPLE 4A-1 & APPLE 4B-1

'1003 A-1' & '1003-1' are crossed out int he run-outs.

Stamper codes: 1/O & 1/O

Housed in its original glossy Apple sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Labels: MINT -

A superb set showing just two or three light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a tiny 1cm scuff on th e 'b' side is a clean as they come.

Audio: MINT -

Played just once or twice at most, the sound is clear and unworn on both sides.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

Clean & fully intact with light handling & storagewear.
