Description
This is an Auction for a First Pressing of Black Flag Damaged on Unicorn/SST Records 9502 released 1981. This is the record that started the court battle between Black Flag and Unicorn Records. This is a promo copy because it is cut in the lower right hand corner and has the stamp"Talk Talk Publications/ Lawrence, Kansas 66044 USA stamped on the record label. This does have the sticker "AS A PARENT..., I FOUND IT AN ANTI-PARENT RECORD...", The cover is also darker than the SST release. This here is the real deal and not the one licensed to Roadrunner Records.
Conditiion: I'm not a big fan of the grading system because too often it is based on opinion and one man's VG+ is anothers man's G. I also tend to grade things low but have found through past experience that regardless of how conservative I am, there is always someone out there that thinks it isn't conservative enough. The fact is that in the 20+ years that I have collected records and often bought new, no record is Mint and without a doubt nothing is Mint++.
- Sleeve: VG The sleeve shows some wear and corner wear and I suggest taking a look at the photos to judge condition.
- Record: VG+ There are a few minor scratches and it needs a cleaning.
About Me: I'm not a dealer and this is part of my own personal collection. I've collecting records since the mid 80s mostly Southern California punk before 1985. Also I promoted shows during the 1990s and 2000s. At this point, most of these records haven't been played in over 10 years and I could uses the money. About 2 years ago, I sold off my CD collection and just recently decided that I need to stop hoarding these. Plus I would love to see these in the hands of another collector to enjoy instead of packed away. I plan on slowly selling off the collection over the next few months. Shipping: I ship everything in record mailers shipped USPS Media Mail and in the US with delivery confirmation, The cost of the mailer and the confirmation is covered by the handling fee. I will combine shipping if you win more than one and I always try to get the fastest shipping at the cheapest rate.
