Up for auction here is a copy of the rare Black Flag promo interview LP that Unicorn Records released to promote Damaged. This copy also comes with a press release promoting a Black Flag/Frazer Smith record due to be released in July by SST/Unicorn/Freeway Records, and produced by Harvey Kubernik. Obviously, that never happened. I'm even skeptical that it was a serious product, and not a wind-up of some kind. Anyway, I've NEVER seen this press release before--the record actually came with two copies, but I sold the other one a year or two ago. The press release I kept, however, has a handwritten note from Harvey Kubernik saying that Black Flag's new record producer was jewish! (with an exclaimation point).
The record is in VG shape--the wax shows less scuffing than most radio station records (the mark you can see in one of the photos is a fingerprint, not a scuff), but there are two tiny chips out of the edge of the record. They don't come anywhere near the grooves, but you can feel them clearly with your fingers. The press release is in NM shape.
