Description

Black Gospel 45: STRIPES OF GLORY on Peacock - listen!  

 

 

This is the Stripes only official release in the pre-1970 years. Both tracks were recorded in London, c. 1961, when they were located in England as servicemen. I'm not sure if this 45 was also released in the UK. The copy for sale here is the American pressing. Who were in the band that played with the group is not known, except for Alexis Korner who played guitar.
