Up for grabs here are two hot sides by Fletcher Henderson's Orchestra recording as "The Dixie Stompers": "Black Horse Stomp" and "Nervous Charlie Stomp" recorded on January 20, 1926 on Harmony 153-H! The all-star personnel on this session were Russell Smith, Joe Smith (tp); Charlie Green (tb); Buster Bailey (cl,as); Don Redman (cl,as,gfs); Coleman Hawkins (cl,ts,bsax); Fletcher Henderson (p); Charlie Dixon (bj) andKaiser Marshall (d)!!! This rare shellac '78 is in E- Condition as per VJM standards--"Still shiny without the luster of a new record, few light scratches" and is a very clean player!
