Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- 1st self titled LP. Early (2nd) UK press with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, gatefold sleeve with black interior and "Dunbar" credit, vertigo swirl inner and big swirl labels without "Phillips" credit. Please note all postage costs include full insurance, tracking and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO 6 847 903 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen and some light scuffs and and a few hairlines only. Visually this is a very decent VG. If you are not tilting it into the light its not far off VG+. Played in its entirety on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music sounds Excellent and at times better. Music is clean, clear, loud and powerful. Cover is also in nice shape. It is firm and square and has only moderate edge wear, corner wear and light creasing. Swirl inner is in nice shape with no splits or writing and only 2 short tears around centre. Poly is still securely attached and has no splits. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
