Black Sabbath 1st Press OZ LP Paranoid VG '70 Vertigo Swirl 6360011 Heavy Metal


Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1970 on the Vertigo Swirl  label. Comes in gatefold sleeve. 
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward on listing them over the next few months.
Paranoid was not only Black Sabbath's most popular record (it was a number one smash in the U.K., and "Paranoid" and "Iron Man" both scraped the U.S. charts despite virtually nonexistent radio play), it also stands as one of the greatest and most influential heavy metal albums of all time.

 Tracks : War pigs/ Paranoid/ Planet caravan/ Iron man/ Electric funeral/ Hand of doom/ Rat salad/ Fairies wear boots.

  There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has scuff marks and light scratches, there are crackles throughout and a handful of light clicks but no skipping or jumping. Record is in VG condition. Gatefold cover has some ring wear, small surface tears around edges and a small seam split on bottom centre edge and centre of spine and is in VG condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
