Description

Black Sabbath, S/T 1st lp, Original 1970 Germany pressing on Vertigo, Near Mint! Crazy clean copy shows little signs of play! The laminated gatefold cover is Near Mint with a 1" X 1/2" piece lifting (not torn off) on the left side rear, see back cover pic. The inner flat black gatefold is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Not too many stoners cleaned their weed with this lp cover...Or played it! The lp is an insane solid Near Mint with great labels. This is the original 1970 German pressing (GEMA is UNBOXED on the B side label). Matrix info is as follows:

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped, variant 1): AA 847 903 1Y 1 ? 1970 670 11 4C X 2
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, stamped, variant 1): AA 847 903 2Y 1 ? 1970 670 11 4C AD 2

It sounds great. It kicks my minty U.S green label U.S. Warner Brothers copy across the room! Bid with confidence, read my feedback, check my other auctions for more hard to find Halloween records and Punk Rock records, YEAH!
All records are play graded with a VPI Scout turntable fitted with a new Goldring 1042 cartridge. All records are cleaned with a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. All lp's are housed in Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master inner sleeves. Records are sent in real record mailers, not folded up priority boxes. I pack bullet-proof! Satisfaction guaranteed! Insurance is buyers responsibility. Thanks!
