Black Sabbath - 1st LP
(Vertigo VO 6 UK LP 1970)
This is an eary UK LP pressing on the "Swirl" Vertigo label. It has a matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined "swirl" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1Y#-1/ 2Y#-2 matrix stampers. Side 2's label has the smaller sized swirl logo.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light rubbing wear to the top edge. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear at the sleeve opening. VG+ condition
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is a small area of more moderate rubbing wear in one area too. There are about 5 light marks or hairline marks. These measure from 0.5 cm to 5 cm in length. VG- condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to VG++ overall & Near Excellent in many places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a few light clicks at the start of Side 1.
