Description

Sabbath their first LP reissued on UK NEMS in 1976. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers A/A. Etching UKPH. Medium weight vinyl. The record comes housed in its original cover printed by Almere in Holland.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely stunning condition and has clearly seen very minimal use. Under close inspection I can barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I could only make out a couple of light crackles in a couple of places - it's certainly a real beauty! This reissue really does deliver the audio goods...fantastic resolution and outstanding dynamics. I wish all reissues sounded like this one! If you love this album let me assure you that you will be blown away by this rendition...
Cover (Ex-) Remains in great condition with beautifully vivid colours and has clearly been looked after. Hardly any creasing front and back with just one tiny sticker removal mark on the rear [to the right of the crow on the rear]. There's some light ageing apparent to the interior and some light edge wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and the text on the spine is still legible. A really nice example.
