Description

For Sale is Black Sabbaths self titled album which was released in 1970 on the vertigo label.

The album is one of the most iconic British rock albums to be ever made

This record is very sought after as it is the original prssing with The phillips records product credit on the label aswell as this the Dunbar credit is next to Warning.

Aswell as this on the inside cover the misprint of OSSIE OSBOURNE is noted

as a result this is quite a rare item

the listings are as follows

Side 1

black sabbath

the wizard

behind the wall of sleep

N.I.B

side 2

evil woman, don't play your games with me

sleeping village

warning

The vinyl is in excellent condition however their are some light marks to both sides but nothing which affects the sound, although their is some background noise and crackling but this may be sorted with a good clean .

the labels are in very good condition however side B as the picture shows has a few marks around the centre hole but this is minimal. Side A is excellent. The labels ALSO show this is a first pressing as Vertigo is written underneath with the Phillips record product underneath.

The cover is in VG condition but has a few problems. There is wear and rubbing along all the edges and  the corners are again quite rubbed especially alont the opening edge. The front cover however appears very clean. The back cover again is clean however there is a small scuff on the largee tree where a 2mm scuff has appeared apart from that the back is very very good. the inside again is very good however their is some slight wear and a crease on the right side near the spine. Overall though this cover has done well to survive 40 years.

Overall a brilliant copy of a rock classic

To the bottom corner on the opening edge to where the record os placed a small split has occurred but this again is minor and doesnt affect the covers appearance

There is also a very minor split on the same side edge at the top however this is very small and just as minor

This is still a very good sleeve and considering this is 40 years old this record cover has done extremely weel to survive
