DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Master Of Reality.  Original 1st UK Vertigo swirl pressing with embossed laminated box cover, swirl inner and matrix ending 1Y1/2Y1. It comes with a top quality 6 panel repro poster. It has a fairly accurate dull matt texture and weighs around 58gm. Most of the repros on ebay (and some of the supposedly originals) are really thick and heavy with a glossy look that is miles away from an original. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance, tracking and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK  CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a dark sheen. Tilted to light there are a couple of very light hairlines that just about prevent visual EX grade.  Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent.  Side One plays a very strong EX. It is clear, clean and loud throughout.  Side 2 also plays around EX. "Orchid", "Lord Of This World"  and "Solitude" all play very clean with just a couple of soft isolated ticks on each track. The rest is straight forward, powerful and clean. I like the sound of this more than any other Sabbath LP and this copy sounds great.  Box cover is also in top shape. Like all my copies it has been stored with 2 cut stiffeners inside to preserve the shape. It is firm and very near-square. It has light to moderate edge wear, near moderate corner wear and light to moderate creasing.  The edges of the box have no splits and there are no tears to the flaps. There are a couple of areas of light laminate lift. There is no peeling. Check out the photos.  The repro poster is MINT, new, without fault  and you could pay up to £40 for one of this quality on its own at auction.  Swirl inner is in nice clean condition with only light wear, light yellowing where it was originally glued, fully attached poly, 1 x 1cm tear to opening edge and centre hole and no edge splits. Really clean labels. Check out the photos.  The sleeve, labels,inner and poster have absolutely no writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Looks and sounds fantastic. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
