True Metal year zero starts here!!!
What can I say about this record?! It’s an all time classic not just of the genre, but all music itself! This is where Ozzy, Iommi, Butler, and Ward not only perfect their signature sound but create the template for modern Metal and several of its sub genres. This is the original 1971 US pressing on Warner Bros - not sure if it’s a first.

Condition of the LP is G+ bordering on a solid VG-. Visually it’s in pretty solid in shape with just a few marks. However, it does have audible crackles and pops throughout. They’re most notable on side one during the first half of “Sweet Leaf” - they remain throughout the rest of the LP but are less intrusive during the loud parts of the record (most of it!). So, it still sounds pretty killer when cranked. It could benefit from a good cleaning. The embossed sleeve is in VG shape. General age wear, some ring wear on front bottom, and some slight corner and edge scuffs. Overall for the age of this masterpiece it’s a goodie! Have a look at the photos to see for yourself.
