Black Sabbath MASTER OF REALITY
Side 1: Sweet Leaf; After Forever; Embryo; Children of the Grave.
Side 2: Orchid; Lord of This World; Solitude; Into the Void.
Very nice 1st UK Pressing: Vertigo swirl label on side 1, black label with small swirl on side 2. Cat Number: 6360 050.Issued in the laminated box case which opens at top and bottom.
Importantly, this has the POSTER INCLUDED, which is in NM condition. No evidence that it has ever been hung, or much less looked at more than once or twice. It remains clean and crisp all around.
LP is in EX/VG++ condition. There is one hairline mark on Side 2 that extends from the label across the last two tracks. It has no audible presence, and is very minor in appearance. Side one has a few signs of very light scuffing, presumably from taking the disc in and out of the sleeve. The record seems to have been played rarely and with care, as it remains very glossy and new looking save for the minor points noted. The labels are unmarked by the spindle and look very clean save for the hairline mark described on Side 2. Beautiful swirls! The album plays beautifully as well! (I forgot how GOOD this record is!!!)
Paper inner sleeve with swirls and plastic liner is in fine shape, slight yellowing, date marked 27 0671. Matrix reads: Side A: 6360050 1Y // 1(upside down triangle) 420 112 Side B: 6360050 2Y // 1(upside down triangle) 420 122
Box cover is in VG++ condition. This has the ‘VO Price Code’, boxed on the back top right of the back. It was printed and made in England by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. Has leaned to the right a bit, some flattening, probably from the weight of being shelved amongst other lps, has some visible creasing along spine, and a vertical blister in the lamination along the front left next to spine. Back cover is in very fine shape. Overall glossy, reflective and shiny with minor shelf wear. Front cover text is embossed and in deep purple and black color.
