Clearing out some records so here is Master of Reality by Black Sabbath. This is a first pressing on the Vertigo swirl label. Matrix no’s: 6360050 1Y//1 420 112; 6360050 2Y//1 420 123 Cat. No. 6360 050 VO PRICE CODE stated on the reverse of the embossed box cover. The vinyl has many scuff marks and lines. I gave the record a clean with vinyl cleaner and then play-tested the album and it plays with quite heavy crackle throughout. Sweet Leaf has about 3 small skips. The rest of the album has no skips or jumps that I could hear, just the heavy crackle. The label on Side A has a paper tear mark on it where a small part has been torn off. The Side B label has a small noticeable line and other wear and tear marks and small lines. The embossed laminated box cover has some laminate lift marks and creases. The bottom flap of the box has been torn off at some point in its life. The original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve is missing as is the poster. A replacement plain inner sleeve is provided. If you’re after a mint or excellent copy, then this is not for you. However, if you can get over the crackle, it’s not too bad a listen if you’re after an original for your collection.
