Description
The audio quality of this FIRST PRESS 1Y 1 2Y 1 example is of a collector’s grade, and I can provide high quality, guaranteed totally UN-processed mp3 files of all tracks including their “lead in / out” sections from this actual record, for a full and 100% representation of what you will receive.
In fact for the serious collector for whom the tiniest audio artifact may have significance I would urge you to request at least some of them, to prove the records clarity.
I do not use the “M” word; frankly what 38 year old record that has been played even just a dozen times can truly be classified as “mint” but the audio quality of this example is superb.
It plays loud and clear, has NO vinyl rumble, NO “played out” distortion, NO cyclic ticks, NO failure of stereo separation, NO jumps and with the exception of the occasional, very light static the record is free of audio artifacts.

RECORDS AUDIO QUALITY.
The description already given at the end of the “buyer please note” paragraph above pretty much says it all, I don’t suppose much more needs saying! But the sound being full, deep, clean and crisp would be a good last comment on the audio output.
RECORDS COSMETIC APPEARANCE
Visually the record is absolutely superb, bright, shiny and unmarked, flawless in all but the brightest oblique light, where all to be seen is a couple of ultra fine sleeve marks, nothing else ! (Producing no audio defects)
THE LABELS.
The labels are bright and clean with no surface loss, scuffs, graffiti or stains and almost non existent spindle marking.
SLEEVE
The box sleeve is CLEAN and BRIGHT, the purple colour is rich and has no fade at all.
The box edges are partially flattened but not damaged, ALL flaps are present. The sleeve has no tears or folds, there is a tiny rub on the middle of the top edge only.
There is a mild degree of the typical lifting (not splitting) of the laminate this embossed first issue cover always developed after some years, due to the upward tension the letters cause in the laminate layer due to the letters standing proud of the cover as they do, and a little at one point on the spine side (no loss though)
I have provided macro picture of ALL FOUR EDGES from BOTH REAR and FRONT SIDES, to show the quality of this cover, as well as a daylight angled photograph to really show the front laminate condition, no secrets or deceit needed or carried out here.
The record comes with a plain sleeve.
