For sale is an exceptionally rare test pressing of Black Sabbath’s Never Say Die! — made for the 2024 BMG / Record Store Day reissue, corresponding directly to the commercial release BMGCAT807LP, Europe – Record Store Day edition.
This white-label test pressing was manufactured by Optimal Media, who pressed the full production run for the RSD retail copies. Test pressings are created in very small numbers (typically 3–10 copies) strictly for audio approval and QC checks before manufacturing begins. These internal-use-only copies are never sold in shops, making them dramatically rarer than any limited RSD release.
Housed in Optimal Media’s official white test-press sleeve with printed plant branding (as shown), this copy represents the earliest physical form of the 2024 RSD remastered LP.
