Description
Black Sabbath: Paranoid, released in the UK on the Vertigo Swirl label in 1970, Cat number 6360 011. Highly collectable and graded in my opinion as overall VG/ VG-.
I always try to be as honest as I can when describing records that I sell. I don't try to hide anything and describe condition as accurately as I can, pointing out any faults, so that you know exactly what you are bidding for
The condition of the vinyl is as follows: There are just a few visible surface scratches and somewhat more hairlines visible under light, but nothing that causes any jumping or sticking and the whole album plays through without any problems, with good sound quality Side 1, I would describe as Very Good condition, good sound quality, occasional but not significant crackle, but no jumping or sticking. Side 2, I would describe as Good + or Very Good - condition , again good sound quality but a bit more crackle and the odd click, particularly on the quiet bits (of which admittedly there aren't many !!), but no jumping or sticking.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in generally very good - condition, some minor scuffing at the corners, some creasing on the laminate, and a fray of about 2 inches on the spine, but no other rips or tears and nothing written on it. There is no damage at all to the inside. The inner sleeve is the original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve, intact but with a couple of small rips in it and a bit dirty with age and general use.
Overall, I would say that this is a decent copy of this classic album. You are not bidding for a Mint or Near Mint copy, but neither is it as poor as some I have seen listed - somewhere in the middle.
