DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Paranoid LP. Early UK press in gatefold sleeve with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix and large swirl label. No swirl inner but comes with an age appropriate inner. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO 6360 011. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+/G+ (please read on). Vinyl is generally clean with a nice sheen and a couple of hairlines. Also has 2 rubbed down surface lines on side 2. Played all of this LP today on my budget deck. It has a very light edge-warp visible on side 2 playback that has no effect on the sound. Side A plays through well and music sounds VG generally. Music is pretty clear, loud and prominent throughout. There are some ticks between tracks and in the quiet passages of the couple of quieter tracks such as "War Pigs". There are a couple of skips in "Hand Of Doom" and also in "Fairies Wear Boots" due to the aforementioned surface lines. Cover is firm and square and has near moderate edge wear (2" cellotape repair to centre of bottom rear edge or would grade VG+) light corner wear and light creasing. Very clean inside to gatefold sleeve. Inner has light to moderate wear and no splits. I will include a new white inner with the original. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
