DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Really early 1st UK vinyl pressing with 1Y1 420 1210 /2Y1 420 1110 matrix and large swirl label. Matt gate fold sleeve with no Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner. My own copy for many years until a recent upgrade. One owner only previous to me. Kept in a heavy duty PVC gate fold sleeve with vinyl kept in a separate white inner. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and some hairlines. Played majority of this today on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is clean and loud with occasional ticks. "Planet Caravan" has a trickle of background sound and some ticks (occasionally repetitive) but the music is loud and prominent throughout. "Hand Of Doom" has a trace of background sound and some ticks in the quietest passages but again music remains easily prominent. Gate fold sleeve is in really nice shape, much closer to EX than VG. It is firm and square and has less than light edge wear (one area of moderate wear to bottom front edge) , light corner wear and minimal creasing. Really clean inside of gate fold sleeve. Rear of sleeve is particularly clean with minimal wear. Clearly fully legible spine retains great shape. It has a small sticker removal mark/dot blacked in above the second B in Sabbath and some light fading that creates a blue effect on bottom 1cm of front of sleeve. Without these 2 minor faults this sleeve would be a strong EX grade. Swirl inner is clean with only light wear and no splits.. Poly is still fully attached and has no tears around the centre. .Vertigo swirl labels are clean but one side has this Lps first owners name written on one side- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
