DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. 1st UK vinyl pressing with 1Y1 420 12 /2Y1 420 11 matrix, large swirl label, matt gate fold sleeve with no Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 09/70. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, a lot of light brushing lines and some hairlines.   Played majority of this today on my budget deck, Sits flat on the turntable. Plays through  without jumps and sticks. It has some ticks and a trickle of background sound mainly in the usual quiet passages.  "Planet Caravan" has some background sound and a repetitive tick but the music is loud and prominent throughout. . "Hand Of Doom" has a trickle of background sound and some ticks  in quiet parts but again music remains prominent.  Gate fold sleeve is in nice shape. It is firm and square and has not much more than light edge wear, corner wear and creasing.  It has a small area of cellotape residue and a couple of small print tears in inside of gatefold. Rear of sleeve is really nice and clean with minimal wear..  Spine retains nice shape and is fully legible. Original swirl inner is fairly clean with a tear that has taken a part out of one side. Poly is still fully attached.Vertigo swirl labels- are clean but have an initial and some light shading on one side-  check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.  PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
