Black Sabbath - Paranoid 1Y1/2Y1 1st Pressing Big Bear Cover & Great Sound
Original first pressing of the Sabbath classic. Matrix numbers and the Big Bear Management credit confirm this.
The cover shows some signs of wear, corner and edge scuffing and light scratches, but for a 53 year old record it's doing well.
As you can see from the pics, the inner sleeve, though an original Vertigo, has yellowed considerably, no doubt it being kept in smoky rooms in the 70s didn't help.
The vinyl is still shiny with no visible scratches. having just listened to there are two tiny skips, one one Iron Man and one on Electric Funeral. There is a pop half way through Hand of Doom. I can see no visible signs for any of these, could just need a decent clean. Otherwise the sound is fantastic, clear and dynamic, with just enough crackle to remind you it's vinyl.
