Don't miss out to get this SUPER RARE earliest Matrix no's 1st press UK 1970 Black Sabbath Paranoid Matt Gatefold Vinyl LP with Large Swirl and 'Jim Simpson' and Big Bear Credits.
Vertigo ''large swirl'' label - with the wording ''Vertigo'' credited below the spindle hole on label side B.
Matt gatefold sleeve - with the credits mentioning ''Management / Jim Simpson, Big Bear, Birmingham''
Cat# - 6360 011 appears on B-side label, spine and rear of sleeve above VO PRICE CODE.
To distinguish from other releases: P 1970 is written above 33 1/3 on right side on label
There is no break in between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad" - it looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there are actually four.

Vinyl is in G+ condition, there are some marks, but plays well on my Hacker Gondolier with Garrard deck, with some clicks but no jumps.
The original Matt (not laminated) Gatefold cover is in VG+ condition, but has some edge & corner wear, see pictures. Also includes the original swirl inner which has no seam splits, only a bit of creasing.

Grading is done through using the Record Collector Grading (vinyl condition/sleeve condition):
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record/sleeve is as near perfect as it was when first bought
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
For example VG/EX stands for Very Good Vinyl and Excellent Sleeve
