Description
Up for auction is a the classic Paranoid album by Black Sabbath on the Vertigo full swirl label, possibly first press?
I am not a collector so I will describe it as I see it but if you have any more questions or need further information or have anything to add then please get in touch
Gatefold cover with only minor bumps to corners and slight scuffing on the base from probably going in and out of a rack but no writing, splits or labels
Vertigo swirl inner sleeve in lovely condition with no writing, splits or any marks
The vinyl has some surface marks but plays through without any jumps
Matrix marks in the run off on side A read 6360011 1Y//1 420, on the B side it reads the same except 2Y//1
What I did find strange was on the B side there are 4 songs listed but only 2 noticeable grooves to change to the next song
There is very feint spindle marks on each side but other than that there is no writing, labels or marks on either label
To be honest I don't know what I have got here but it looks to be a very good example of a classic album
Would make an excellent retro gift or to add to a collection
Priced to sell with a 99p start and no reserve so it will sell to the highest bidder
Part of a family loft clearance
