Description
Black Sabbath S/T Debut US 1970 WHITE LABEL PROMO LP w/Timing Strip
Cover is a glossy NM and shows no signs of surface or ring wear. Just a small hint of corner wear, and a very tiny abrasion top center above the last "A" in Sabbath. (see photos)
There is a small sticker upper right that I never dared to try to remove due to the exceptional condition of this cover. The sticker reads "RR-A1" and was probably an identifier for the original radio station that it was delivered to.
Timing strip is NM.
You rarely see this cover without any ring, surface, or edge wear. This one is a beauty with no splits, writing, cuts, or holes. One of the best I've ever seen!
Plain white inner sleeve is NM.
Vinyl is NM-
Both labels have the same sticker on them as the cover. Side one label has a bit of blistering around the sticker and a tiny tear at the beginning of the word "Warner". (see photos)
No signs of spindle marks on either label.
Insanely rare 47 year old promo in very collectable condition!
Note:
This US version features more song titles than actual songs. These extra titles are believed to refer to the intros of certain songs:
"Wasp" is believed to refer to the intro of "Behind The Wall Of Sleep"
"Bassically" refers to the bass solo that opens "N.I.B.".
"A Bit Of Finger" is believed to refer to the acoustic intro of "Sleeping Village".
