Description
This is a superb 1st press copy of 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath'. One light scratch on 'Killing Yourself to Live' that gives a slight pop on rotation of the first two verses is all that detracts from the near perfect album. I have attempted to photograph this on picture 7 - it is just visible. It is excellent otherwise
The cover is in superb shape, there is a price sticker on the front, a small area of residue on the back from a previous sticker, light discolouration on the rear and the very lightest visible ring/edge wear. Inner sleeve is also in remarkable condition.
Both sides are glossy deep black - very satisfying to find this often abused album in this condition.. I'm listening to it now! Just the odd light crackle and near perfect sound quality.
The labels are both excellent, slight faded area on one (possibly from manufacture) no noticeable spindle marks, clearly low hours and apart from the one light scratch which is just about visible in one of the pictures (probably the stylus caused this)
This record has been professionally cleaned to maximise it's playback potential

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
