DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Sabotage . 1ST UK press with 1/2 2/2 matrix and stamped "STERLING". Textured sleeve and correct white inner. With rare hidden 30 second track after "The Writ"- "Blow on A Jug". Apparently only the very first presses of this have this "track" (its actually hard to hear- recorded at a very low volume). LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: NEMS 9119 001 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1975 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. Played brief passages of this today on my budget deck, decent deck is awaiting repair. If i get it fixed by end of auction ill give this a spin and update listing. . Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds very near Excellent. The quieter tracks have the odd tick and the hidden track "Blow on a jug" has quite a bit of background sound. It has to be turned up really loud to make it out. Delicate textured sleeve is in unusually nice condition. It is very strictly graded at VG+. I would not be dissapointed if i bought this as EX. It is firm and square and has less than light edgewear , cornerwear and light or possibly a touch more than light creasing. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Decent copy of a 1st UK pressing of a classic Sabbath LP. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL and CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
