Description
Here I have for sale Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath lp vinyl originally released in 1970. This is Black Sabbath's debut album. A Seminal rock album and the beginning of what would known as heavy metal rock and all its sub-genres. This is a reissue, however it is still completely sealed in the shrink. I will admit that I am not sure from when is this precise pressing from. It has no barcode. I was told when I bought it sometime ago that it was an import from Holland. I am not sure. I tried doing some research but could not find anything that matched. I don't think this is a recent reissue however.
I will provide more details below. I try to describe everything I sell as accurately as I possibly can. Please feel confident that the item will be close to how I describe it, based on the inevitability of subjective opinions in everyone. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. - I am not sure when was this reissue was released, but I assume sometime in the late 70's to early 80's.
- This is a gatefold cover
Cover: I will grade the jacket cover as Near Mint (NM). The reasons being simply because it has what appears to be some scratches indented on the front of the cover. They aren't really noticeable until you look for them under the light. They also could be on the shrink wrap but don't seem like it. There are some other heavier scratches on the top left corner of the front cover that do seem to be on the shrinkwrap, so that shouldn't be a problem if you are planning on the taking it off. Aside from that the cover jacket looks beautiful. Very clean. No ringwear. No splits. No wear. There is a red price sticker on the shrink. No writing. I would like to note some symbol that is printed on the back cover on the top left corner. I have never seen it on other jacket covers. That might help on identifying the pressing of this specific record. It looks like an S inside a circle.
Record: I will grade the record as Mint (M). The Record is sealed and has never been opened. Therefore it has never been played. For that reason as well, I can't check the exact condition of the record or the information on the label to identify the specific pressing. Any possible imperfections in the record are from factory. Like I said record has never been opened.
