Vertigo 1970
The very rare first Dutch pressing of the iconic first album from Black Sabbath and the very first Vertigo release in the Netherlands.
Notable for the glossy sleeve and identical front and back cover - the only difference being the addition of the VO 6 catalogue number and associated info on the rear.
Inside the gatefold is a similar design to the UK version with the inverted cross and poem and also the retention of the ‘Ossie’ spelling error. The production is also credited to ‘Roger’ Bain instead of Rodger.
This copy is easily VG+ throughout, verging on Excellent. There is some fading to the spine and some light marks on the vinyl that don’t detract from the Excellent audio throughout.
I could only find one other copy of this for sale.
