This is from my own collection, I am not a dealer, in the next few months I am selling off part of my collection, some collectable and rarities, no filler! Thanks for looking!
This one has amazing audio on this 1971 recording great nice flat 70s pre oil crisis heavy thick vinyl with no warping or other worrying faults... *this just sounds so much better*...

This first *ICONIC 1971 UK Vertigo* estimated sold only around 50,000 in UK 71 how many are left...?? Poss less than 10,000 in good order? Less than 50%? , so you can see its getting very very collectable.
from the start of *Sweet Leaf* Toni Iomis sharing a cough *ah ha ah ha* to the end this is truly the defining Sabbath sound for lots of reasons...
not available in this format in USA and Canada! where it went gold and later platinum founding the bones of *stoner rock* Nirvanna have famously cited this album as *the one* which inspired their sound, a real time piece and collectors find. growing in value and a great listen! recorded at island studios London in early 71.
so what here you get the better quality *lower volume* UK pressings on thick 70s vinyl and the Iconic UK Black and White Vertigo *Swirl* label.
This is a "Near Excellent* not perfect not mint not near Mint ! please if you want Mint look elsewhere this is a played and cared for Near Ex copy.
Near *Ex Vinyl* + *Cover*and reproduction poster pretty faithful to the original.
the original "Vertigo Swirl" inner is present!, no rips or tears aged nearly 46!

Near Excellent condition on this 1970 1st Pressing 636050-1Y and 636050-2Y,
This is the *Box Opening at Top Original Swirl from summer 71 release* very soon after the versions changed, now so so hard to find as this sold much less in UK than their Previous *Paranoid* which is much easier to pick up... great nice thick pre oil crisis heavy vinyl..
a real timepiece looks great! a few spindle lines and stored upright in PVC jacket for many years.some light removal scratches or surface lines to report there are removal scuffs under strong light, still a real finders dream!
plays incredible with some light background noise could benefit from a professional clean, we don't do this its a personal thing. some light "clicks or pops" in the quieter passages intro to *Solitude* but the overall volume of the music is easily enjoyable on the soon to be 47 year old, super shiny clean fat pre oil crisis 70s vinyl (see pics) great swirl labels...
no writing stickers or tape to report.
the original "Vertigo Swirl" inner is present along with a new lined sleeve. the original swirl inner has aged and yellowed slightly but is in good order no tears or rips.on the reverse side it has a signature and has been shaded in *see pic*
we can supply a reproduction Verigo swirl if required.. please ask... , the original is here to maintain continuity.

Great original 1971 cover with UK "high gloss laminate finish" a verry good condition with almost zero ringwear to rear, no writing stickers or tape to report.
the top opening cover normally suffers this one is in good order with no seriuos damage, some laminate
cracked around opening folding edge see top edge pic. nothing serious no *worrying faults!*
some slight rounding at corners , no splits or tears to worry about.
the reproduction poster is really nice quality clear clean and not a lot of handling evident, truly a collectors find. no holes, tape or writing and no worrying faults a great sleeve that would be *Excellent* only the laminate cracking and lines keeping it *Near Ex*

Plays fantastic with bright clear sound and amazing bass, may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but only a few pops nothing to disrupt playing no sticks or jumps on our Rega 3.
