THESE ARE GETTING IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN UP NOW IN ANY DECENT CONDITION!!
Of course there are NO skips, jumps, clicks or sticks. Unbelievably as it may sound there is hardly any background noise at all. These early seventies pressings are just bulletproof! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Vinyl: EX+. Close to NM vinyl. Only nder a very strong light two or three wispy lines can be observed. This is an astonishing example. The replay is astounding and it will be very hard indeed to upgrade from this prime example. There is nothing untoward on this great heavy glossy vinyl. NO skips, jumps or clicks. It was a real joy to listen to this great slice of vinyl with some special tracks that take you back to the day .....
Gatefold sleeve: This rates VG++. Tiny creases to the corners and opening only. This has the inner photo booklet still attached. The sleeve is transitional (and hence very rare indeed!!!) , an original swirl sleeve with the Vertigo catalogue number 6360 071 but overstickered by the subsequent WWA 009. The sticker is translucent and hence the original number can be seen. As this is totally original I have not made any attempt to remove it. The spine is great and fully legible. The edges are really nice as well with hardly any sign of wear. The sleeve, as was quite customary, was printed in Germany and was married up by the company with the UK pressed vinyl. This happened a lot with the big names like also for example Led Zeppelin, most notoriously their 3rd album.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible, LEAVE ALONE IN THIS STUNNING EX CONDITION!!!
Labels are EX with only minor spindling. .
