I have played this in FULL> The replay is GREAT!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. BLACK SABBATH - VO6 - VERTIGO UK 1970

THESE ARE GETTING IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN UP NOW IN ANY DECENT CONDITION!!
SLEEVE - THICK GATEFOLD - VIRTUALLY AS ISSUED WITH ONLY VERY MINIMAL MINI EDGE CREASES A HEAVY STRONG VG+ DISC. INNER BAG VG with seamsplits but original with the all important datestamp "0470". Of course there are NO skips, jumps, clicks or sticks. Unbelievably as it may sound there is not much background noise at all. These earliest pressings are just bulletproof! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Vinyl: A strong VG+. A couple of hairlines that do not have any impact on the marvellous audio. This is a great heavy glossy slab of vinyl from the heyday of progressive rock ... an absolute classic!! Just listening to "N.I.B." and "Black Sabbath" bring me back to the day. re-issue or CD cannot compete on the fullness of the sound.
Gatefold sleeve: VG+ . This is the EARLIEST sleeve crediting TOM Allom as the engineer and not like on later sleeves TONY Allom. Also this has the OSSIE OSBORNE credit. One small bit of tape along the top, not too noticeable really.. Light corner scuffs. The edges are nice with only minimal scuffing. All in all a very decent sleeve without any writing or marks. Only one crease near the bottom.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible, LEAVE ALONE IN THIS STUNNING EX CONDITION!!!
Labels are EX with only minor spindling.
