DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Vol 4. First UK pressing with gatefold sleeve with complete booklet. Small swirl label with no made in england beneath 1972. 1Y1/ 2Y1 Matrix. Plain white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: VERTIGO VO6360071 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G-/VG. Vinyl is pretty clean with some sheen and a fair few hairlines/surface lines. . Played passages of both sides of this today on my Pro-ject Deck at a decent volume. Sits flat on the turntable. Music sounds generally Very Good. It has some ticks and a trickle of background sound in quietest passages. The music is generally clear and loud . As ypoud expect "Changes" brings the ticks and background sound out alot more than "Snowblind". These are great pressings of amazing music. Cover retains decent shape, it is firm and square and has near heavy edgewear, moderate cornerwear and light creasing. Has a small "nip" off front left hand side botom edge. Original booklet is complete and attached by original means . One side of labels has writing on, the other has some faint red marking. No other writing, rips. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of surface sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
